Respected Sir,
I am really thankful to you from the bottom of my heart for the awesome workshop you had organised. It was great learning experience for me , I am really blessed to have mentor like you, because it is only a good teacher who can make your life really easy. I explored your web page and the way you teach school kids and awaken the curiosity to learn science among young children from the beginning... the way you teach is really awesome... how the mathematical equation governs the physics of nature was really very easy to understand.
It has been more than 50 hours since the last class but I still feel ambiance of classroom in my mind.
Thanks again Sir...
Hope to meet you soon...
And hope to be a part of the next STC in December 2016...
Thanks and Regards,

Hello Sir,
I have arrived home in the morning today. Thank you for the valuable time and knowledge you shared with us.
Being the youngest among all the participants, I enjoyed a lot of love and care from my fellow participants as well as your volunteers from IIT Mandi. The main force which drived me to travel about 3000 kms was to learn and I am now happy that I have learned so many things in the course duration from you and all. Every minute spent at IIT Mandi was some kind of a learning experience from the people around.
Your course has fully prepared me to cultivate my skills in applied CFD and applied FEM. My classroom experience when you shared your skills and knowledge during the course was really full of enthusiasm in the environment.
Look forward to join your amazing courses in my near future.
Sincerely,
Anupam Konwar

This course was well organised. It was so interesting that we never missed even 5 minutes of the class in the entire 7 days. We learnt a semester course in a week. What I observed in other courses I have attended is that many faculty will deliver lectures without bothering about what participants need. But in this course, Sir gave lectures and hands on sessions keeping participants in mind. He wanted to us to learn the CAE skill, not simply delivering lectures.

We had plans to attend this course for 1 or 2 days and then leave to enjoy beautiful places like Manali. But this is first time happened that we attended any course for the entire duration. We could not leave the class for even a single minute. We did the assignments till 12 night. It was so interesting. The best part of the course was that theory, and hands on practice was covered very well. Connection to real world situations made us understand basic fundamentals of the theory.

I have attended about 70 training courses so far but I can say without any second thought is that this course is the best. I learnt so much. I'm from industry and I could connect each and everything tought in the class to the field problems. Now I can apply the CAE techniques to design better. I'm feeling very confident after this course.

I attended last year course here at IIT Mandi in which OP sir gave 2 hours lectures very enthusiastically. On that day I decided that whenever OP sir will organise any short term course, I'll attend without fail. I don't have any words to describe what I feel after attending this course. It is just awesome. So much learning in such a short time.

Only one thing I'll tell, this is the best course I have attended. The whole day we kept learning new things. The workshop would have been for at least 10 days. There is so much to learn. I didn't knew anything about FEM or CFD before coming here. But see now, I'm able to develop my own CFD and FEM model. Thank you, Sir !

I'm teaching FEM for a decade now. But the way you taught was amazing. From basic fundamentals to applied, it was so flawlessly explained that anybody without prior knowledge in FEM can understand the basis. I enjoyed all the sessions. It was so lively and interesting.

I liked the scale analysis of the differential equations. I never understood boundary layer theory. Now can I easily derive the boundary layer thickness without any hassle. I'll write in my CV.

I never seen a faculty who can teach both FEM and CFD with so much exposure to real world problems. This course was very much interesting.
Rajesh V. G.
Associate Professor,

Though I was knowing CFD before coming to this course. After learning FEM, now I can see the connection to the practical problems. They are connected. I came to know after this course that real world problems are multi-disciplinary in nature. Knowledge of FEM and CFD, both are needed to properly design any product.
